1. A three-dimensional imaging apparatus, comprising:
a housing having a first opening and a second opening on opposite sides of the housing;
a first imaging device mounted within the housing; and
a second imaging device mounted within the housing,
wherein the first imaging device is configured to capture one or more images through the first opening to collect a first set of image data,
wherein the second imaging device is configured to transmit and receive light through the second opening to collect a second set of image data, and
wherein the first imaging device and the second imaging device are configured to collect the first set and second set of image data from different parts of a three-dimensional scene simultaneously.
