1. A method comprising:
receiving, by at least one processor, at least one electronic request message;
wherein the at least one electronic request message comprises:
at least one routing code field having at least one routing code field content defining at least one portion of a routing path of the at least one electronic request message and
at least one destination code field having at least one destination code field content defining at least one destination of the at least one electronic request message;
determining, by the at least one processor, that at least one first network protocol destination code in the at least one destination code field content conforms to a first network protocol associated with a first network;
accessing, by the at least one processor, a dynamic route map stored in a mapping database;
wherein the dynamic route map comprises a mapping of destination codes between the first network protocol and a second network protocol;
determining, by the at least one processor, at least one second network protocol destination code associated with the at least one first network protocol destination code based at least in part on the dynamic route map and the at least one first network protocol destination code;
wherein the at least one second network protocol destination code conforms to the second network protocol of the second network to define the at least one destination of the at least one electronic request message;
modifying, by the at least one processor, the at least one routing code field content of the at least one routing code field of the at least one electronic request message to comprise the at least one second network protocol destination code; and
routing, by the at least one processor, the at least one electronic request message according to the at least one second network protocol destination code in the at least one routing code field content of the at least one routing code field.
