18. A voltage controlled system, comprising:
a rectifier coupled to a first voltage source and configured to provide a second voltage source;
an input terminal coupled to the second voltage source;
primary circuitry configured to be coupled to a primary coil of a transformer;
a first secondary terminal configured to be coupled to a first terminal of a secondary coil of the transformer;
a second secondary terminal configured to be coupled to a second terminal of the secondary coil of the transformer;
a first switching circuit configured to provide current to the primary circuitry;
a one-shot circuit having a one-shot output and a one-shot input;
a first transistor having first and second current terminals and a first control terminal, wherein the first current terminal is coupled to the first secondary terminal, and the first control terminal is directly connected to the one-shot output;
a second transistor having third and fourth current terminals and a second control terminal, wherein the third current terminal is coupled to the second current terminal, the fourth current terminal is directly connected to the second secondary terminal, and the second control terminal is directly connected to the first control terminal;
a diode having an anode directly connected to the first current terminal, and a cathode directly connected to an output terminal;
a capacitor having first and second capacitor terminals, wherein the first capacitor terminal is directly connected to the cathode of the diode, and the second capacitor terminal is directly connected to the fourth current terminal; and
a device coupled to the output terminal, wherein the device is powered by a current from the output terminal.
