1. A flexible battery, comprising:
an ink-based cathode comprising graphite, the cathode positioned on a side of a cellulose paper;
an anode comprising aluminum foil, the anode embedded in the cellulose paper;
an aqueous electrolyte comprising water and an aluminum halide, the aqueous electrolyte saturated within the cellulose paper; and
an encapsulating film surrounding the anode and cathode that seals the flexible battery.
