1. Eyewear, comprising:
a frame having a first side and a second side;
a first temple adjacent the first side of the frame;
a battery supported by the eyewear in a distal end of the first temple opposite of the frame; and
a phase change material (PCM) coupled to the battery and configured to regulate a temperature of the battery, wherein the PCM is localized in the distal end of the first temple opposite of the frame;
a gap defined between the battery and the PCM; and
a gel distinct from the PCM disposed in the gap between the battery and the PCM, wherein the PCM is configured to conductively transfer latent energy to the battery via the gel, wherein the PCM is disposed on an outer surface of the temple and exposed.
