1. A method comprising:
determining that a user has an ongoing interaction with an object-annotation pair;
determining that the object of the object-annotation pair has left the field of view of the user;
determining that the user was not yet finished reading the annotation of the object-annotation pair when the object of the object annotation pair has left the field of view of the user;
responsive to determining that the object has left the field of view of the user and that the user was not yet finished reading the annotation of the object-annotation pair when the object has left the field of view of the user:
generating a virtual representation of the object; and
displaying the virtual representation of the object while continuing to display the annotation associated with the object.
