1. An image processing device, comprising:
circuitry configured to
acquire, by processing pixels of a first resolution image, a second resolution image having a lower resolution than the first resolution image;
extract and classify an object from the acquired second resolution image;
identify, in the first resolution image based on a position of the extracted object within the acquired second resolution image, an object area corresponding to the object extracted from the second resolution image, the extracted object having a predetermined classification; and
perform recognition processing of the object in the object area identified in the first resolution image.
