1. An electronic device comprising:
an electronic display configured to display an image based on warped image data; and
image processing circuitry configured to:
determine image statistics corresponding to input image data, wherein the input image data comprises a first perspective;
determine a hierarchical grid comprising a first set of grid points that define mappings from the first perspective to a second perspective;
determine whether to split the hierarchical grid into a first plurality of grid partitions based on the image statistics;
based on determining to split the hierarchical grid into the first plurality of grid partitions, determining a second set of grid points corresponding to the first plurality of grid partitions based on the first set of grid points; and
warp the input image data from the first perspective to the second perspective to generate, at least in part, the warped image data based on the mappings corresponding to the first set of grid points, the second set of grid points, or both.
