1. A method, comprising:
determining a gaze direction of an occupant of a vehicle using a neural network;
identifying when the gaze direction of the occupant deviates from a predefined region of a set of one or more predefined regions corresponding to one or more fixed positions in a vehicle coordinate system corresponding to the vehicle; and
initiating a driving action in response to the identification that the gaze direction of the occupant has deviated from the predefined region.
