1. A system comprising:
a device including
a capacitance detector including a first pad, the capacitance detector operable to detect capacitance
associated with the first pad, an inductance detector including an inductor, the inductance detector operable to detect inductance of the inductor, and
a circuit operable to calculate a data transmission speed based, at least in part, on a first capacitance detected by the capacitance detector in a first period of time, a first inductance detected by the inductance detector in the first period of time and a second inductance detected by the inductance detector in a second period of time.
