1. A method for performing state management services for composed information handling systems, comprising:
making a determination that an at least one control resource set is not associated with a distributed state storage system, wherein the at least one control resource set comprises a plurality of system control processors and wherein at least one control resource set is part of a composed information handling system; and
in response to the determination:
identifying additional computing resources to instantiate the distributed state storage system;
instantiating the distributed state storage system using the additional computing resources;
registering the at least one control resource set with the distributed state storage system; and
preparing the at least one control resource set to perform state management services using the distributed state storage system,
wherein performing the state management services comprises:
obtaining, by a system control processor of the plurality of system control processors, a request to perform the at least a portion of the state management services from a system control processor manager,
generating, in response to the request, state information associated with the system control processor, and
storing the state information in the distributed state storage system,
wherein the distributed state storage system comprises a plurality of state information generated by the plurality of system control processors,
wherein the plurality of state information comprises the state information,
wherein performing the state management services further comprises:
identifying, by the system control processor manager, a restoration event associated with the system control processor manager, wherein the restoration event is identified after generating the state information,
in response to the identifying the restoration event associated with the system control processor manager,
 performing a discovery of control resource sets associated with the system control processor,
 obtaining the state information stored in the distributed state storage system,
 making a second determination that the discovery and the state information indicate a re-composition of a composed information handling system, and
 in response to the second determination: initiating a re-composition of the composed information handling system.
