1. A method of operating a server, the method comprising:
storing, in a storage device, group member information for a plurality of different groups;
processing a first group image to identify one or more individuals whose image is included in the first group image;
modifying, at said server, the first group image for distribution based on a modification rule associated with a first group to which said first group image corresponds to produce a first modified first group image from the first group image, said first modified first group image being different from said first group image; and
providing the first modified first group image to an entity requesting the first group image.
