a machine-readable medium that stores program instructions; and
a processor operatively coupled to the machine-readable medium, wherein the processor executes the program instructions to:
detect a loss of communication between the chassis manager and a management device;
determine a status associated with a task being executed by a server hosted in the enclosure, wherein the server is communicatively coupled to the chassis manager; and
in response to detecting the loss of communication and based on at least one of the status of the task or a geographical location of the edge enclosure, perform a security action at the enclosure, wherein the geographical location is received from a receiver in the edge enclosure,
wherein the enclosure is deployed in a mobile environment in which wherein the enclosure moves from a base location to a task location during the task.
