1. A method for configuring and parameterizing fieldbus subscribers interconnected via a fieldbus, at least one first fieldbus subscriber being configured to at least one of provide and receive process data and a second fieldbus subscriber being configured to allow execution of a user program, the method comprising:
utilizing a configuration tool to determine a topology having configuration parameters of the fieldbus subscribers in a configuration file;
parameterizing the first fieldbus subscriber for subsequent communication via the fieldbus utilizing at least one configuration data set comprising at least one first part of the configuration file;
generating an object-oriented class having elements and functions for communication between the second fieldbus subscriber and the first fieldbus subscriber from the configuration file and further code parts from a program library; and
instantiating the class in the user program of the second fieldbus subscriber and utilizing the functions for communication when the user program is being executed such that access to the process data becomes possible.
