1. An illumination device, including:
a LED module; and
an optical system arranged in proximity to the LED module and configured to provide a seamless light field,
wherein the LED module includes:
a circuit board;
a plurality of light emitters configured to emit excitation light disposed on the circuit board;
wherein:
each of the plurality of light emitters includes a light source and a phosphor covering the light source and a reflector surrounding lateral surfaces of the light source and the phosphor,
the plurality of light emitters includes a first light emitter and a second light emitter that are arranged in a first array and spaced apart from each other by a first gap, the first light emitter and the second light emitter being arranged next to each other with the first gap without any light emitter arranged in the first array and between the first light emitter and the second light emitter,
the plurality of light emitters further includes a third light emitter and a fourth light emitter that are arranged in a second array and spaced apart from each other by a second gap, the third light emitter and the fourth light emitter being arranged next to each other with the second gap without any light emitter arranged in the second array and between the third light emitter and the fourth light emitter,
the first light emitter and the second light emitter are arranged in a first direction, and the third light emitter is disposed to overlap with the first gap in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in a plane view.
