1. A warning device for a mining control module, comprising:
a housing, configured to be placed partially through an opening provided at an outer surface of the mining control module, said housing defining an inner cavity,
an alarm module configured as an acoustic module, arranged in said inner cavity and configured to be releasably coupled to an inner control unit of the mining control module via said opening for receiving a control signal,
wherein the housing comprises a first portion extending along a longitudinal axis and configured to extend at least in part through the opening and a radially extending second portion configured to extend over the outer surface of the mining control module so as to cover the opening, when the warning device is coupled to the mining control module,
wherein the warning device comprises a fixation means arranged on the second portion and configured to releasably engage the outer surface of the mining control module so as to secure the warning device to the mining control module.
