1. A myofascial release device comprising:
a head member;
a shaft;
a grooved channel disposed on the shaft;
a first terminal end comprising a portion of the head member; and
a second terminal end comprising a portion of the shaft;
wherein:
the head member has a convex shaped portion coupled to a concave shaped portion,
the shaft is coupled to the concave shaped portion of the head member,
a largest cross-sectional diameter of the shaft is substantially smaller than a smallest cross-sectional diameter of the concave shaped portion of the head member,
the grooved channel is disposed on the shaft at a location that is closer to the second terminal end than to the first terminal end, and
the myofascial release device is radially symmetric along a central axis extending from the first terminal end to the second terminal end.
