1. A stent having a distal end and a proximal end and a longitudinal axis, the stent being transitionable between a delivery configuration and a deployed configuration, the stent comprising:
a proximal circumferential member;
a distal circumferential member;
an intermediate section extending at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis, the intermediate section including a helical element extending axially between and connected to the proximal circumferential member and the distal circumferential member, the helical element having at least one helical row defined by uniform apex geometry and including a plurality of undulations joined with one another through a plurality of axial connectors, wherein the axial connectors maintain an axial length between the plurality of undulations such that the axial length is relatively constant between the delivery and deployed configurations; and
wherein the helical element is defined by a partial helical turn.
