1. A tissue connector device for end-to-side connection of tissues, the connector device comprising:
a hollow body having an insertion end configured to receive a donor tissue end, an adjoining end, and a lumen therebetween; and
a single overflap extending longitudinally out from the adjoining end of the hollow body, wherein the single overflap extends longitudinally out from one half or less of a perimeter of an edge of the adjoining end of the hollow body, wherein the single overflap includes two sides that taper towards each other as they extend from the edge of the adjoining end to a distal end of the single overflap, the distal end of the single overflap being parallel to the edge of the adjoining end of the hollow body, and wherein the single overflap is flexible and sized to at least partially extend around an exterior periphery of a non-end side of a recipient tissue and to position the non-end side of the recipient tissue adjacent to the adjoining end of the hollow body.
