1. A handle of an endoscopic device connected to an insertion tube comprising an articulation section located at a distal end of the insertion tube, the handle comprising:
an articulation mechanism including articulation cables or wires passing through the insertion tube to steer the articulation section, wherein at least a portion of the articulation cables or wires are provided in one or more fluid sealed compartments, the one or more fluid sealed compartments being sealed relative to the handle to prevent leakage of liquid or gas from the compartments into the handle while allowing the passage of liquid from the one or more fluid sealed compartments through the insertion tube.
