1. A spike for an article of footwear, the spike comprising:
a first portion configured to be attached to the article of footwear, the first portion including (i) a base extending from a first end to a second end along an axial direction, and (ii) a first flange extending radially outward from the first end of the base, wherein the first flange includes a first mating surface formed on an opposite side of the first flange than the base; and
a second portion including (i) a second flange including a second mating surface attached to the first mating surface of the first portion and an outer surface opposite the second mating surface, and (ii) a single annular ridge continuously projecting from a periphery of the outer surface away from the first portion, wherein the second portion forms a ground-engaging surface of the spike.
