1. A vehicle comprising:
a battery;
a power outlet configured to supply power from the battery to a device plugged into the power outlet and external to the vehicle;
a display; and
a controller, including one or more processors, programmed to, responsive to a difference between distance to empty and distance to station values for the vehicle being less than a first distance threshold, generate output for the display indicative of a recommendation against use of the power outlet with devices external to the vehicle having a power rating greater than a predefined power rating threshold, wherein the output summarizes information related to power and battery status of the vehicle to prevent depletion of the battery while one of the devices is plugged into the power outlet.
