1. A system including one or more processors for providing integrated three dimensional (3D) video and corresponding 3D galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS), comprising:
a 3D visual stimulation component system including:
a virtual environment user component configured to receive a 3D video signal representative of scenes of a video, wherein the 3D video signal includes data representative of 3D video angular velocity information in the corresponding scenes of the video;
a visual display coupled to the virtual environment user component to display the scenes of the video; and
a head tracker coupled to the virtual environment user component to provide a 3D head orientation signal including 3D head angular velocity information representative of the motion of the head or eyes of the user viewing the scenes displayed by the visual display, where the user's body, with the exception of the user's head or eyes, is substantially stationary with respect to the visual display;
a 3D angular velocity calculator component coupled to the 3D visual stimulation component to calculate resultant 3D angular velocity information based on the video angular velocity information and the head angular velocity information, wherein the resultant 3D angular velocity information is representative of 3D angular velocities of the user's head or eyes with respect to the motion in the scenes displayed by the visual display;
a 3D acceleration calculator component coupled to the 3D angular velocity calculator component to calculate 3D acceleration information based on the resultant 3D angular velocity information, wherein the 3D acceleration information is associated with the resultant 3D angular velocity information and is representative of 3D accelerations of the user's head or eyes while the user is viewing the scenes displayed by the visual display, where the user's body, with the exception of the user's head or eyes, is substantially stationary with respect to the visual display; and
a 3D GVS command generator component coupled to the 3D acceleration calculator component to generate 3D galvanic vestibular stimulation signals corresponding to the 3D acceleration information, wherein the 3D stimulation signals are configured to stimulate 3D acceleration sensations corresponding to accelerations of the head or eyes while the user is viewing the scenes displayed by the visual display, where the user's body, with the exception of the user's head or eyes, is substantially stationary with respect to the visual display.
