A method of treating a Pseudomonas aeruginosa respiratory tract infection in a patient in need thereof comprising administering to the patient's respiratory tract a therapeutically effective amount of at least one Lactobacillus strain, wherein administration to the patient's respiratory tract comprises administration to a lung of the patient.
