1. A cleaning device comprising:
a vacuum cleaner including a dust collecting container; and
a dust collecting station to which the dust collecting container is connected,
wherein the dust collecting station comprises:
a sensor configured to detect whether the dust collecting container is connected to the dust collecting station;
an input device configured to receive an input from a user;
a suction fan configured to generate a suction airflow;
a motor configured to rotate the suction fan;
a dust bag configured to collect foreign substances that are moved by the suction airflow; and
at least one processor configured to:
determine whether the dust collecting container is connected to the dust collecting station based on an output value of the sensor,
control the motor to rotate the suction fan for a predetermined operation time based on determining that the dust collecting container is connected to the dust collecting station and an input of an operation command through the input device, and
based on determining that the dust collecting container is separated from the dust collecting station before the predetermined operation time elapses or a stop command is received through the input device, control the motor to remain turned on for a predetermined waiting time and then to be turned off so that the foreign substances remaining in a suction airflow path along which the suction airflow passes inside the dust collecting station can be collected in the dust bag.
