1. A method, comprising:
receiving, by a station (STA), a first trigger frame sent by an access point (AP), wherein the STA supports n resource units RUs, wherein n>1, wherein n is an integer, wherein the first trigger frame comprises information used to determine a number k of random access resource units (RA-RUs) allocated by the AP, wherein k>o, and wherein k is an integer; and
setting, by the STA, in response to the STA determining that a first parameter is greater than or equal to a value of an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) random access backoff (OBO) counter, the value of the OBO counter to o, and randomly selecting, by the STA, i RA-RUs from the k RA-RUs to send uplink data, wherein i≤n, and wherein the first parameter is computed from k and n.
