1. A method used in a communication station, wherein the communication station is an Access Point (AP) or a non-AP station (non-AP STA), the method comprising:
broadcasting information about a Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) on a wireless channel, wherein the TXOP comprises two or more transmission durations and a preemption period exists between any two neighboring transmission durations of the two or more transmission durations; and
pausing communicating on the wireless channel during the preemption period to give opportunity for one or more stations (STAs) to preempt the wireless channel to transmit high priority traffic, wherein
each of the two or more transmission durations is 2 ms and the method further comprises:
setting a Network Allocation Vector (NAV) to a duration of the whole of the TXOP or 2 ms; and
broadcasting information about the NAV along with the information about the TXOP.
