1. A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
one or more memories; and
one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
transmit a first indication of a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capability for a first subcarrier spacing, the first indication indicating support for multi-slot PDCCH monitoring, a span of three consecutive symbols within a slot for a monitoring occasion associated with the multi-slot PDCCH monitoring, and a first gap between spans selected from a plurality of gaps;
transmit a second indication of a second PDCCH monitoring capability for a second subcarrier spacing, the second indication indicating the span of three consecutive symbols within a slot for a monitoring occasion associated with the multi-slot PDCCH monitoring, and a second gap between spans, the second gap being one of the plurality of gaps; and
receive a PDCCH monitoring configuration that is based at least in part on the first PDCCH monitoring capability or the second PDCCH monitoring capability.
