20 Claims

1. A user equipment (UE), comprising:

at least one memory; and

at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to:

receive downlink (DL) data from a base station in a mobile terminated (MT) early data transmission (EDT) (MT-EDT) procedure;

determine whether to transmit uplink (UL) data associated with the DL data in the MT-EDT procedure; and

transmit information indicating whether the UL data associated with the DL data is to be transmitted.
