1. A system for spectrum utilization management in a wireless network comprising:
at least one network slice of the wireless network, wherein the at least one network slice includes a radio access network (RAN); and
a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) layer associated with the at least one network slice;
a wireless network resource optimization application in the MEC layer including at least one data analysis engine for analyzing measured data detected signal information from a radiofrequency (RF) environment and a programmable rules and policy editor;
wherein the detected signal information includes a center frequency and bandwidth of at least one signal;
wherein the at least one data analysis engine is operable to obtain statistical information and analyze possible interactions based on the center frequency and the bandwidth of each signal to create analyzed data;
wherein the programmable rules and policy editor includes at least one rule and/or at least one policy defined by requirements associated with at least one customer;
wherein the wireless network resource optimization application is operable to optimize the network resources of the wireless network based on the analyzed data and customer goals; and
wherein the customer goals are achieved based on application of the at least one rule and/or at least one policy.
