1. A system, comprising:
one or more lenses;
an image sensor comprising a plurality of pixels configured to receive light that passes through the one or more lenses to generate signals for producing an image; and
at least one pixel output settling assist circuit comprising:
a voltage change detection circuit comprising a capacitor coupled to an output of at least one of the pixels of the image sensor that is configured to generate a first current representing a change of a voltage at the output of the at least one pixel during read-out of the signals of the at least one pixel; and
a current adjustment circuit configured to adjust a second current applied to the output of the at least one pixel based on changes of the voltage at the output as the voltage settles to a stable voltage during a settlement period;
wherein the image sensor is configured to:
sample (a) a first output voltage of the at least one pixel at a reset voltage and (b) a second output voltage of the least one pixel after transfer of charge from the at least one pixel, wherein the first and second output voltages are sampled at a same level of the second current as controlled by the current adjustment circuit;
determine an accumulated charge of the at least one pixel based on a difference between the first and second output voltages; and
process the signals from the pixels indicating accumulated charges of the pixels to generate the image.
