1. A method of video decoding, comprising:
decoding prediction information of a current block in a current picture of a coded video sequence, the prediction information indicating a subset of combinations of processed reconstructed samples of a first color component of a coding block and corresponding offset values of a filter process to be applied to a second color component of the coding block;
determining an offset value of the filter process to apply to a reconstructed sample of the second color component of the current block based on a combination of processed reconstructed samples of the first color component of the current block; and
reconstructing the current block based on the determined offset value applied to the reconstructed sample of the second color component of the current block, the second color component being different from the first color component, wherein
when the combination of the processed reconstructed samples of the first color component of the current block is a first combination of the subset of the combinations of the processed reconstructed samples, the determined offset value is the offset value corresponding to the first combination of the processed reconstructed samples indicated by the prediction information, and
when the combination of the processed reconstructed samples of the first color component of the current block is different from each of the subset of the combinations of the processed reconstructed samples, the determined offset value is derived from the offset value of the filter process corresponding to a second combination of the subset of the combinations of the processed reconstructed samples.
