1. A device for telephonic communication, the device comprising:
a top surface including a plurality of buttons and displays, the plurality of displays operable to display a plurality of softphones and identification information related to a user;
a processor operable to generate a call list, wherein the call list includes a plurality of telephonic numbers and the identification information related to the user; and
a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
establish a communication channel between a first telephonic number and an external device associated with the first telephonic number; and
analyze call data from the communication channel, wherein analyzing the call data further includes:
upon determining that the user is active on the communication channel, storing, in the memory, the first telephonic number as a default telephonic number for the user; and
upon determining that the user is not active on the communication channel, disconnecting the communication channel.
