1. A system, comprising:
one or more computer-readable storage media;
a processing unit operatively coupled with the one or more computer-readable storage media; and
program instructions stored on the one or more computer-readable storage media that, when executed by the processing unit, direct the processing unit to at least:
identify, based on an output voltage produced by a power converter circuit, a compensation value used by a power control unit to derive thresholds of a resonant capacitor of the power converter circuit;
supply the compensation value to the power control unit, wherein the power control unit controls a switching frequency of the power converter circuit based on the thresholds of the resonant capacitor derived from the compensation value;
receive an event signal from the power control unit, the event signal indicative of a breach of one of the thresholds by the resonant capacitor;
determine that the switching frequency is outside a defined range based on the event signal; and
in response to determining that the switching frequency is outside the defined range, supply a control signal instructing the power control unit to clamp the switching frequency of the power converter circuit.
