1. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed, perform a method for managing a number of elements of an antenna array, the method comprising:
monitoring signal quality for a first antenna array associated with a first base station;
communicating the signal quality for the first antenna array to a second base station;
determining that the monitored signal quality fall below a threshold value;
determining that the signal quality measured for the first antenna array being below the threshold value is caused by an overlap of a first main lobe of the first antenna array and a back lobe of a second antenna array, the second antenna array being associated with the second base station;
determining that a second UE will not experience a drop in coverage with a gain reduction of the second antenna array; and
based on the overlap determination and the determination that the second UE will not experience a drop in coverage, dynamically reducing the gain of the second antenna array.
