1. A system, the system comprising:
industrial control equipment configured to execute a manufacturing process;
a first input/output (“I/O”) module including a first channel circuit, the first I/O module configured to establish a first communication interface with the industrial control equipment;
a second I/O module including a second channel circuit, the second I/O module configured to establish a second communication interface with the industrial control equipment; and
an electronic processor configured to control sourcing of power to the industrial control equipment via at least one of the first communication interface of the first I/O module or the second communication interface of the second I/O module such that the industrial control equipment executes the manufacturing process.
