1. A circuit device used for a head-up display apparatus, comprising:
a distortion correction circuit configured to perform a distortion correction on input image data as image data of an input image and outputting output image data as image data of an output image after the distortion correction, wherein the input image is divided into a plurality of first divisional areas, the output image is divided into a plurality of second divisional areas, and one area of the plurality of first divisional areas correspond to a corresponding area of the plurality of second divisional areas; and
an error detection circuit configured to detect an occlusion error in a display image of the head-up display apparatus based on the output image data with respect to each of the plurality of second divisional areas,
wherein, when the error detection circuit detects the occlusion error in an error detection area of the display image corresponding to a first area of the plurality of second divisional areas, the error detection circuit is further configured to set the output image data corresponding to the first area to transparent color data represented in a transparent color in the error detection area of the display image of the head-up display apparatus.
