one or more sensors configured to generate output signals related to the keycontainer, wherein the output signals comprising a position information of the keycontainer inside the lockbox relative to the lockbox; at least one processor operatively connected with the one or more sensors; and memory storing instructions executable by the at least one processor, the instructions when executed cause the system to:

determine, using the output signals from the one or more sensors, the status of the keycontainer, the status indicating whether the keycontainer is released from the lockbox and whether the keycontainer is placed correctly in the lockbox, wherein the determination is based on the position information of the keycontainer inside the lockbox relative to the lockbox; and

send a status notification based on the determined status of the keycontainer.
