1. A method, comprising:
determining, based at least in part on first data received from a first device, that a fall event has occurred;
determining that at least one of the first device or a second device located in an environment where the fall event occurred includes a camera, wherein the first device is associated with the second device and is configured to communicate with the second device, and wherein the first device is co-located in the environment with the second device;
causing the camera to start capturing images of a field of view of the camera based at least in part on determining that the fall event has occurred; and
sending image data corresponding to the images to a predefined device associated with fall detection as determined from user profile data associated with the environment.
