1. A gate apparatus comprising:
a gate which is disposed on a second plane crossing a first plane in which an authentication object moves in one direction and which partitions a moving space of the authentication object from another space;
an inclined face which is formed on the gate to cross the first plane and the second plane and which is inclined upwardly from the first plane;
a plurality of lights;
a display configured to display an image on the inclined face;
cameras configured to capture an image of the authentication object in proximity to the display and attached to upper and lower positions of the display;
at least one memory configured to store instructions; and
at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:
transmit the captured image to a terminal of the authentication object;
receive, from the terminal, an authentication result acquired based on the captured image and a pre-stored image of the authentication object in the terminal; and
emit light from the plurality of lights sequentially in the one direction in a case where the authentication result includes an admission of passage,
wherein the plurality of lights are attached to one edge and another edge of the gate on the second plane, and wherein in a case where the authentication object passes through a passage area of the gate apparatus, the plurality of lights attached to the one edge emit, the one edge facing the passage area.
