1. An information processing apparatus in which a print setting application has been stored in association with an OS (Operating System) standard print function that is different from a printer driver provided by a printer vendor, comprising:
a processor configured, by executing the stored print setting application, to:
cause a display of the information processing apparatus to display print setting values, the OS standard print function being able to display some of the print setting values but not able to display at least one of the print setting values;
receive a user selection of the print setting values, a set of the selected print setting values being corresponding to an identifier;
cause the display to display the identifier as a selectable option, wherein the print setting values corresponding to the identifier are set in a case that the displayed identifier is selected by a user;
receive a user instruction for selecting the identifier; and
provide print setting information based on the selected identifier for generating print data, wherein the print data is generated without the printer driver provided by the printer vendor, the OS standard print function being able to generate print data of a PDF (portable document format) or a PWG-Raster (Printer Working Group-Raster) data and to transmit print data to a printer of the printer vendor in accordance with the Internet Printing Protocol.
