1. A method for generating a virtual reality interface to display patient health data, comprising:
generating and displaying, in a three-dimensional space including an object representation, one or more curvilinear bands floating within the three-dimensional space at least partially circumscribing the object representation and being vertically separated from each other by an open space, and each being configured for a continuous presentation of data versus time;
displaying, along a curvilinear surface of each of the curvilinear bands, respective two-dimensional data representations of first physiological data;
receiving a first user selection of a respective band of the curvilinear bands;
generating, in response to receiving the first user selection, one or more additional curvilinear bands floating within the three-dimensional space and partially circumscribing the object representation above or below the selected respective band of the curvilinear bands; and
displaying, on a curvilinear surface of a respective curvilinear band of the one or more additional curvilinear bands, a two-dimensional data representation of second physiological data associated with the data displayed on the curvilinear surface of the selected respective band of the curvilinear bands.
