1. A data sharing system, the system comprising:
a memory storing executable instructions; and
a processor configured to execute the instructions to:
store user data of a plurality of users in the memory;
receive a request for the user data from a third party system;
identify a privacy risk in the user data of the request;
modify the user data to reduce the privacy risk, wherein the instructions to modify the user data comprise instructions to add at least one dummy record to a set of records for a requested data field in the user data, wherein the dummy record comprises a mobile number or email address of a dummy user;
share the modified user data with the third party system; and
track messages to the mobile number or the email address to determine that the third party system has shared the user data with another party.
