1. An image forming apparatus comprising:
a main body, the main body including a controller and a first metal terminal;
a tray which is movable between a housed position housed in the main body and a drawn-out position drawn out from the main body, the tray including:
a frame,
photosensitive drums, and
a communicator provided at the frame, the communicator including tray contacts and a second metal terminal,
cartridges detachably attached to the frame, wherein each of the cartridges includes
a housing storing toner,
a developing roller,
a supporting member provided at one end in a longitudinal direction of the developing roller, and
a memory medium configured to store information about each of the cartridges and being supported by the supporting member, the memory medium including a memory contact,
wherein in a housed state in which the cartridges are attached to the frame and the tray is in the housed position, each of the cartridges is capable of taking a first position in which the developing roller is in contact with one of the photosensitive drums and a second position in which the developing roller separates from one of the photosensitive drums while the memory contact is in contact with one of the tray contacts,
wherein in the housed state the memory contact faces an upstream side with respect to a moving direction of the tray from the drawn-out position to the housed position and the tray contacts face a downstream side with respect to the moving direction,
wherein in the housed state, the first metal terminal and the second metal terminal are in contact with each other, and the memory contact and one of the tray contacts are in contact with each other while facing each other in the moving direction of the tray, so that the controller is allowed to perform a process related to the memory medium.
