1. A method of operating a plurality of capacitive pressure sensors, each capacitive pressure sensor comprising a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on a surface of a folded flexible substrate, the first and second electrodes facing each other and being separated from each other by a dielectric layer, the method comprising:
for each capacitive pressure sensor, generating an electrical signal related to a change in capacitance between the first and second electrodes, the change in capacitance resulting from a change in thickness of the dielectric layer due to an external pressure;
transmitting the electrical signals from the capacitive pressure sensors to an external device; and
integrating signals transmitted from each capacitive pressure sensor.
