1. A turbine engine rotor comprising:
a shaft having an outer diameter groove having a first wall surface, a second wall surface and a base, a first axial direction defined from the first wall surface to the second wall surface;
a blade disk having a protuberant disk bore having an inner diameter (ID) surface; and
a seal ring encircling a central axis and having:
a first face contacting the first wall surface, the second wall surface, the base, and the ID surface;
a second face spaced apart from the first face by a thickness;
a first rim joining the first and second faces; and
a second rim joining the first and second faces,
wherein the seal ring central axial cross-section passes:
radially inward and axially in a first direction;
then radially inward and axially opposite the first direction;
then radially outward and axially opposite the first direction; and
then radially outward and axially in the first direction.
