1. An electric vehicle (EV), comprising:
a memory that stores computer executable components; and
a processor that executes at least one of the computer executable components that:
monitors driving operations being performed by a driver while driving the EV;
monitors respective operating parameters of battery modules electrically coupled in a battery pack of the EV, wherein the battery modules respectively comprise one or more battery cells;
in response to determining, based on the respective operating parameters, that a driving operation of the driving operations being performed by the driver is causing rates of degradation of respective states of health (SOH) of the battery modules that exceeds a defined threshold rate of degradation:
identifying a first subset of the battery modules having first respective SOH that have degraded greater than a defined threshold amount of degradation, and
identifying a second subset of the battery modules having second respective SOH that have not degraded greater than the defined threshold amount of degradation; and
until the driving operation being performed by the driver that is causing the rates of degradation that exceeds the defined threshold rate of degradation ends:
utilizes the first subset of battery modules to provision power to one or more vehicle components of the EV; and
prevents the second subset of battery modules from provisioning power to the EV.
