1. A phototherapy apparatus for treatment of a biological tissue of a user, the phototherapy apparatus comprising:
a hand piece comprising a proximal end configured to be held by the user and a distal end;
a massage component coupled to the distal end of the hand piece and positioned in a chamber, wherein the massage component is configured to stimulate the biological tissue;
a tube connected to the handpiece and configured to provide a flow path for a thermal treatment into the chamber; and
a light source disposed at a distal end of the hand piece around the massage component, the light source configured to emit a light along a path proximal to the massage component as the massage component stimulates the biological tissue.
