1. A method comprising:
obtaining, from an orientation sensor, orientation data of a motorized device;
obtaining, from a distance sensor, distance data to an area proximate to the motorized device;
determining, using a processor and based on the orientation data, a safety value corresponding to a slope of the area proximate to the motorized device and a likelihood of the motorized device tipping over on the slope based on the orientation data; and
controlling, by the processor and based on the distance data exceeding the safety value, a drive operation of the motorized device.
