1. A medical system, comprising:
a processor;
a time sequential color system comprising a red light source, a green light source, and a blue light source operable to emit a sequence of red, green, and blue light spaced over a period of time;
at least one active pixel sensor array coupled to the processor, wherein the at least one active pixel sensor array is operable to detect each of the red, green, and blue light, and send a signal to the processor;
a wavefront correction system coupled to the processor;
an image reference system; and
a memory medium that is coupled to the processor and that includes instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the medical system to:
utilize the image reference system to determine a wavefront distortion of a reflected wavefront of light reflected off an interior of an eye of a patient; and
utilize the wavefront correction system to correct the wavefront distortion of the reflected wavefront of light reflected off the interior of the eye.
